Dune: Awakening is a survival game developed and published by Funcom. A multiplayer game, it was released for Windows on June 10, 2025, with early access beginning on June 5. Versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are also planned for a 2026 release. Dune: Awakening is an Open World Survival RPG where you can fully immerse yourself in the epic world of Dune. Alone or with friends, explore a vast open world Arrakis, survive the sandworms, build a home, craft an ornithopter, and unravel the mystery of the missing Fremen.
How to get Dune: Awakening on PS5?
Dune: Awakening has just been released on PC, but unfortunately the game is not currently available on other platforms. In a press release received by IGN, Funcom states that the PS5 and Xbox Series versions will not be released until 2026. Following the critical and commercial success of Dune: Part Two, the film was confirmed to be in development, and Warner Bros. Pictures set up a December 2026 release date.
