Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 is the upcoming seventh installment in the Mario & Sonic series and the third game set in the Winter Olympics since Sochi 2014. This game is set in the Milano Cortina Olympic Games, which takes place from February 6-February 22, 2026.Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 19, 2027, by Paramount Pictures.There is no Sonic game coming out in 2026. Why did they stop making Mario and Sonic Olympics?
GameTrailers concluded that Mario & Sonic’s lack of polish and simplicity leaves the improbable grouping of mascots as its main attraction when compared to other party video games released for the platform. Super Sonic was much more powerful then star man Mario and because he has defeated Solaris and the time eater who destroyed time and space. Wiz: Mario did amazing in strength, intelligence and more variety of power-ups, but Sonic’s speed, durability and stronger arsenal overpowered Mario in the end.Sage: Sonic has the overall advantage in power. Base Bowser can destroy multiple continents, but base Sonic had infinite power on a three-dimensional level. With Power Stars, Bowser could move stars, but base Sonic far surpasses that level of power.Mario would need mutiple star item boxes to stand a chance. Mario is a good guy and has great games. He would get beat by Sonic in a physical fight though. Sonic has killed gods on multiple occasions, and can move at FTL speeds in base.
