The G923 is great for its price. Sure, it can’t really compete with high-end direct drive wheels, but for a casual player, it gets the job done. How powerful is the G923?
A G29/G923 is only around 2-3nm of force, whereas a kart is more like 15, so it’ll be way, way weaker. A closer option to the torque of a kart based on what I’ve seen is the Moza r5, it’s a good starter wheel but still only 5. Nm of torque. The G923 has more travel in the brake pedal, it has true force (which helps navigate changing track conditions. It also has a dual clutch feature, which helps you with grid starts. It also has faster turn in than the G29. It’s a truely amazing wheel for the price point.The second racing wheel I recommend is the Logitech G923 due to its incredible support on every platform and with almost every racing game. G923 also has a new feature called true force which adds additional vibrations to the wheel for more immersion. Brake pedal is a little more stiff on the G923 which is reported to be an improvement. I have a G29 and no complaints.Both the Logitech G29 and G920 are still available to purchase, so you can still buy either of these racing wheels. However, the newer and upgraded Logitech G923 incorporates everything that both of these wheels have to offer, superseding both as the best budget Logitech racing wheel.
