Can I still buy games on my 3DS?
Important. As of 5:00 PM Pacific Time on Monday, March 27, 2023, it is no longer possible to purchase software or DLC in the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. However, for the foreseeable future, it is still possible to redownload games and DLC that were purchased previously. The Nintendo eShop features downloadable games, demos, applications, streaming videos, consumer rating feedback, and other information on upcoming game releases. The service was discontinued globally for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in March 2023, continuing only on the Switch and Switch 2.
