This is how you make an arcade racing game. Need for Speed Unbound is the best modern NFS to date. It is still riddled with issues like rubberbanding and weird drifting physics, but it still provides its players with the best handling system in years, with grip racing finally back. NFS Unbound is just another one among so many other terrible ones: bad gameplay, bad music, awful story—not that this franchise has ever had great plots, but this game managed to be the worst of all. It can’t even get the basics right; even the racing part of this game is bad.
