MultiVersus officially closes down and is delisted today. The online servers for MultiVersus officially close down today, bringing an end to Warner Bros Games’ crossover Smash Bros rival. The publisher announced back in January that the game’s fifth season would be its last, running from February 5 to May 30. The online servers for platform fighting game MultiVersus have officially been taken down. While players will no longer to match up with others online, WB Games had noted that players that had logged in between between February 4 and May 30 will still be able to play the title.MultiVersus was delisted and its servers were permanently closed on May 30, 2025, remaining playable through its offline modes.Unfortunately, the final product wound up being inferior to the beta for a multitude of reasons, leading to the announcement of its impending closure. Why did they shut down Multiverse?
The Warner Bros. MultiVersus, will shutdown on May 30, according to a statement by developer Player First Games. The game was released on May 28, 2024.
