Is ARK like Minecraft?
Minecraft is a hive of mini-games, co-op builds, roleplays, and massive PvP hubs. It’s customizable thanks to its vast modding and plugin communities. ARK multiplayer, however, is a whole different beast. It’s all about tribalism, forming alliances, launching raids, and fiercely controlling territory. Minecraft also is not a buggy game, especially compared to ark. But ark is better in other ways: Ark has a lot more content, ark has better pvp, prettier maps, it has dinosaurs (huge plus) and more complex systems like breeding. They’re simply trying to do different things and I love them both for it.ARK is so much better in multiplayer if you ask me but the game runs much better in single player. The UE5 upgrade coming though will hopefully make ARK multiplayer a significantly smoother experience.
Is ARK a heavy game?
ARK is a RAM intensive game though, and your PC should have at least 8 GB to be safe. If you want to run ARK: Survival Evolved on higher settings than the bare minimum, your PC needs to pass the recommended system requirements test. Key components: A modern graphics card (such as the RTX 3060 or equivalent) is essential for running ARK and other demanding games. Pair this with a fast CPU, minimum 16GB RAM, and an NVMe SSD for swift loading times.
Is ARK still fun solo?
It’s not as fun even if you play by yourself it’s fun just to be able to fly around the map and see the other people’s buildings and what they’re doing. You will enjoy the experience better is you start a single player game with only a basic idea of how the controls work. As for the number of players, you shouldn’t have any issue. Until you get to 50+ players a powerful enough server can usually manage them.I mostly play solo as I don’t have a lot of time to run on official servers. You can still open your game on a non dedicated server to have friends play, but there is a tether that won’t let whoever is in go far away. Solo is great for learning the game and doing what you want.
