After a brief hardware and software development period, the Vectrex was unveiled on 7 June 1982 at the Summer Consumer Electronics Show in Chicago. It was publicly released in seven select introductory markets in October at a retail price of US$199 before being distributed nationally in the first quarter of 1983. The Vectrex Mini: Kickstarter campaign planned for early November 2025. Launch price will be 149 Euros, so around $175-ish, or £130-ish. Half the size of the original console.
