Why is AOE2 better than AOE3?
I played both a very large amount, and I have to say that the only parts of AoE 3 that are better than AoE 2 are the graphics, home city , and trade. Everything else, the number of civilizations, the presence/lack of random maps, the AI, the campaign, the variety of units, buildings, and upgrades, goes to AoE 2. AOE4 is basically a rehashed AOE2 with 3D graphics. It really isn’t a fun game. I would advise spending your money on AOE3 DLCs instead of the reheated bland leftovers that is AOE4. You’ll get a lot more with your money in AOE3.
