Not Outlast 3, they’ve said it themselves multiple times. It’s a TBA project established within Outlast’s universe. So it will be it’s own stand alone game, but will be placed in the same universe.
Is Outlast trials a success?
The Outlast Trials is by far the best co-op horror experience on console right now. The intensity and the well-crafted design of each trial make you want to dive back in every single time you manage to escape alive. And being able to get jumpscared and disturbed with up to three friends just makes it much better. Outlast is a terrifying game which hooked me almost instantly. Like with most ‘scary’ forms of media, it has to be enjoyed properly by sitting in complete darkness with the sound up high, but if you can endure the constant barrage of horror, then it’s a hugely enjoyable experience which I would definitely recommend.
