Why was The Day Before removed from Steam?
On 11 December, four days after The Day Before launched to widespread criticism, Fntastic announced their closure, stating that as their game had failed financially they could not afford to continue operating. The Day Before was removed from sale on Steam later that day. On Monday, the studio said it was shutting down and that no more updates will be released for The Day Before. Developer Fntastic announced its closure on X in a statement that read, “The Day Before has failed financially, and we lack the funds to continue.The Day Before developer Fntastic has cancelled its failing Kickstarter for one game and announced another in the same breath.
Why did Steam suddenly shut down?
