Why was Evolve cancelled?
The developers of Evolve, Turtle Rock Studios, will no longer be working on the game. The entire game will now be handled by 2K. Turtle Rock wanted to continue working on the game but they were released from their duties. The reason they have to hand off the game to 2K is because their contract ended. Evolve is a 2015 first-person shooter video game developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by 2K. Announced in January 2014, the game was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February 2015.
