Why is GTA 5 18+?
As Grand Theft Auto 5 is an 18+ rated game children should not be playing it. However, the ease of access to these types of games, and the mature content, does make them appealing. As such, children will be subjected to profanity, violence, crime, drugs, sex and other mature themes. Parents Say Many believe it can be appropriate for older children (typically those 12 and up) if they are mature enough and properly supervised, particularly highlighting that the online mode is significantly less problematic compared to the story mode.Parents say that while the game offers a compelling storyline and engaging gameplay, it contains excessive violence, strong language, and adult themes that make it unsuitable for younger children.
