Why did Warframe get rid of account merging?
Merging combines progress and inventory of both accounts, meaning it requires active developer updates when we release new content for Warframe. As we approach the anniversary of Cross Platform Save’s full release, fewer players are Account Merging meaning it is less necessary for us to maintain this feature. You can access your Cross Platform Save Account on any platform. This includes PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, Nintendo Switch and iOS. The Android version of Warframe will also be compatible upon its release.Cross Platform Save isn’t going anywhere, but the option to Merge eligible #Warframe Accounts will end on January 17, 2025, so get it done before it’s gone!Warframe’s Terms of Use strictly prohibits buying, selling and/or transfer of your Warframe Account. Doing so will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of the account in question.Yes! Players can still engage in Cross Platform Save via Account Linking, which will remain in perpetuity. While eligible accounts will no longer be able to be Merged, players can pick a Main Warframe Account and use it across all linked platforms!
Can I move my Warframe account to Steam?
You can either create an account on warframe. Steam account in game, or you can create an account in game using the Login with Steam button, which will immediately connect it to your Steam account. Can I use my Steam account on other computers? You may use your Steam account on any machine which can connect to the Steam network – Steam allows you to download and install any games registered to your account as soon as you log in.
