Why did Mojang cancel Minecraft Earth?
Minecraft Earth was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic which restricted outdoor activity. The game was a great concept! On January 5, 2021, Mojang announced that Minecraft Earth would be slowly phased out and eventually discontinued on June 30, 2021.
