Who are the bad guys in Pac-Man?
Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde, collectively known as the Ghost Gang, are a quartet of colorful ghost characters from the Pac-Man video game franchise. Created by Toru Iwatani, they first appear in the 1980 arcade game Pac-Man as the sole antagonists. In the original Japanese Pac-Man, the ghosts’ names represent their behaviors: Blinky (Shadow): Chases closely like a shadow. Pinky (Speedy): Attempts to get ahead of Pac-Man. Inky (Bashful): Moves erratically due to uncertainty.The objective of the game is to eat all of the dots placed in the maze while avoiding four colored ghosts—Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan), and Clyde (orange)—who pursue Pac-Man. When Pac-Man eats all of the dots, the player advances to the next level.
