Origins got the best main story/characters. Combat feels better and I think it got much more unique-looking areas and in that sense got a more handcrafted look to it. Odyssey looks visually better and has an excellent DLC. One of its main characters Kassandra is also well-played, even if the main plot is pretty dull. Like its predecessor, the game features a large open world and adopts many elements from the role-playing genre, putting more emphasis on combat and exploration than stealth. Naval combat from previous titles in the series also plays a prominent role in Odyssey.Most critics agreed that Odyssey is a successful transformation for the series from stealth games to action role-playing games.
