Escape Room in its own term is better than a lot of low budget horror/thrillers. It is not as gory or nasty as the Saw movies. It is competently entertaining with a subtext regarding pleasing the elites. This is most definitely the case for Escape Room 2: Tournament of Champions, which includes an Extended Cut featuring 25 minutes of new footage, two new characters (played by Isabelle Fuhrman and James Frain) and completely alters the narrative of the film.Escape Room 3 is an upcoming film by Columbia Pictures Industries. Neither of these versions is too great, none of them is as good as the first Escape Room movie. But still, the extended cut version is BY FAR better story wise. The extended cut develops the main story behind the rooms and kinda moves the story forward. Overall, I enjoyed the first Mad Experiments: Escape Room over the second as the puzzles in the second one were more frustrating but both had good art, sound, music, controls, and an interesting vibe to settle into by yourself or with friends.
