Bastion is a Damage hero in Overwatch and Overwatch 2. It is one of the 21 heroes included in the game’s release on 24 May 2016. Initially, lead writer Michael Chu stated that Bastion had no gender, and as a result used it for pronouns. However, Overwatch 2 instead used masculine pronouns for the character.
