Why can’t I buy Battle for Middle Earth?
Hey @nailie11 as EA no longer has the license for the LOTR series it is not possible to purchase it. The best thing to do is to take a look online to see if you can find any store or sellers selling the game, I picked up a boxed copy of it a couple of years back and was able to play the game again on my older system. Downloading them is still technically illegal, however, EA does not believe there is any money to be made in the LotR RTS genre and as such has decided not to pursue anyone so far. This is not to say that they will not in the future and downloading the game still counts as pirating.
