Is FF16 better than FF15?
Honestly, FFXVI had better combat, but the story and overall progression was too linear and the combat seemed much too focused on boss fights than the overall combat experience. FFXV had its issues in terms of pacing and content being outside of the game, but overall it was still an enjoyable experience. Final Fantasy XVI is a more linear game with roughly 70 hours of content if you do everything it has to offer. It is a lot more dense experience with a deeper lore and narrative and an overall better story. Not because FFXV’s story is strictly bad, but because FFXVI manages to tell its own in a much more optimal way.FFXVI in terms of Story, characters,and Overall game world, is much stronger than FFXV. But as a game overall I still love FFXV more, and I think it has to do with the general gameplay.
Why did people not like FF15?
Most dislike for the game comes from what it was originally suppose to be and what it became, along with it not being a turn based game. Theres also a factor for what people thought of 12, 13, and 14. For people who did not like any of those games, 15 was a tipping point. First of all the internet hate is overblown; it’s not a flop and is one of the best selling final fantasies of all time. But there’s three main reasons why it gets a lot of hate: The day one version of the game was bad. It was incomplete, had several bugs, and was missing critical features like character swapping.
