Real-time strategy (rts) is a subgenre of strategy video games that does not progress incrementally in turns, but allow all players to play simultaneously, in real time. By contrast, in turn-based strategy (tbs) games, players take turns to play. rts games have the capacity to impact cognitive abilities and visual perceptual learning processes; those who played strategic-style games improved their decision-making ability and showed better performance in the learning process compared to those who had no experience in this regard.
