The Getaway is an action-adventure video game developed by Team Soho and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2. The Getaway 3 was to be the fourth installment of Sony’s The Getaway series for the PlayStation 3 console and the third main installment in the franchise. The title was reported as cancelled on 4 June 2008, along with Eight Days.According to Sony’s official statement, It has been agreed that production of both 8 Days and The Getaway will cease immediately due to the redistribution of resources and budget.

Developed in Secret: PlayStation Studios confirmed that “The Getaway 3” has been in silent development by a small team of veterans from London Studio, with support from talent across Naughty Dog and Bend Studio.
