Why was Stadia so bad?
People flocked to services from more established players in the gaming space, such as Xbox Game Pass or GeForce Now, because they were already proven. Stadia was more of a novelty, and it didn’t offer enough to set it apart from much of the growing competition. So you can imagine my surprise to find Steam not only supports the Stadia gamepad now, it’s made every button useful.

Sadly, it failed because of a lack of games, a confusing pricing model and strong competition. A classic example of a over-promised product that under delivered.
