On March 2, 2026, Disney Branded Television greenlit a fifth film, Zombies 5, with production due to begin in New Zealand that spring. Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim will not reprise their roles; however, they will return as executive producers. The film is scheduled to be released in mid-2027. A fifth installment of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie ZOMBIES franchise has been greenlit for Disney+ and Disney Channel, with Malachi Barton and Freya Skye set to return to their breakout roles as Victor and Nova.
