Is Tunic difficult to beat?
While some segments can be annoying, Tunic, with enough perseverance, can be an accomplishing and enjoyable game. One of the most difficult games out there. You lose all your HP in 2-4 hits from any boss, while bosses can be hard to approach for an attack and take a lot of time and stamina. The only way to see Tunic’s secret ending is to assemble the entire instruction manual, which means finding collectibles, solving intricate puzzles, and carefully exploring each area. The difficulty of Tunic comes mostly from the extremely vague way it presents itself. The puzzles in the second half of the game are significantly harder than anything I’ve seen from Zelda in a very long time.
Is Tunic worth playing?
It might look cute, but it is far from soft, presenting a unique, cleverly mixed fusion of Souls-like combat and Zelda-like exploration and puzzles. Tunic is a masterpiece of adventure and exploration. I’ve really been enjoying playing through the game Tunic. The developer clearly took inspiration from classic Zelda (giving me Link’s Awakening remake vibes), but implements a lot of unique and clever mechanics that sets it apart.
