Is the Gothic remake faithful to the original?
Gothic 1 Remake remains faithful to the original experience, rebuilding the game from the ground up while preserving its distinctive sense of unrestricted exploration and satisfying progression. Gothic 2 is vastly more enjoyable after playing the first game, but you can 100% understand it without and enjoy it on it’s own as well. There’s a small recap of 1st game events.
