As opposed to his two endings in the original game — death or his transformation into a Wendigo — Josh can survive in the remake as a human.The true ending of the original version of Until Dawn involves all the characters surviving, except Josh who turns into a Wendigo.The Wendigos are the main antagonists of the 2015 video game Until Dawn, it’s 2025 live-action film of the same name and its 2018 prequel The Inpatient.

This movie has three to four good jump scares and is not for the faint of heart for sure. This is the scariest film of 2025. Very dark and depressing film that’s most definitely not for the faint of heart. The jump scares in this film are very effective scary and unexpected. One of the characters is a psycho.
