Is the steam version of Chrono Trigger bad?

Difficulty: Medium – Chrono Trigger is like most other 16-bit era RPG titles when it comes to difficulty level. The game offers frequent opportunities to save (with many of save points conveniently placed right before major boss battles). Boss fights can certainly pose a bit of a challenge. The combat in Chrono Trigger is great. It was interesting to have a combat system where Strength was not the main focus of its mechanics but Speed. This is obviously because the faster a character was, the more attacks they could do to an enemy.
