Graphics and audio are on a completely different level too. It also introduced a bunch of accessibility features so if any of the above is important to you I say play the remake. If you do choose the remastered ps4 version it’s still a great game and I think you will love it either way. Part I is superior in every respect. It’s also good that it achieves visual parity with Part II. If you play on PS5, TLOU Part I is definitely way better. Remastered is better played on PS4.

Some remasters are better, but often, original pressings are where the gold lies! The answer varies according to the album and the pressing, due to many technical factors, but remastered records are often worse than excellent, lightly played original pressings, and in my experience, only occasionally better. Unlike a remake which often changes the now-dated gameplay, a remaster is very faithful to the original in that aspect (in order to appeal to that nostalgic audience) while permitting only a limited number of gameplay tweaks for the sake of convenience.
