As of now, The Forest remains unavailable on Xbox consoles, and its sequel, Sons of the Forest, is also exclusive to PC. No platforms have been revealed just yet, but we expect it to come to PC if it follows a similar release to past titles. How many endings does The Forest have?
The game features two endings: If Eric activates the artifact, he causes the plane to crash and is implied to have found a sacrifice to revive Timmy. One year later, Eric and Timmy have apparently been rescued and are invited onto a talk show to promote Eric’s book, which chronicles his experiences on the island. After making out of the secret compound, Eric watches as a plane flies over the island and takes out the photo of Timmy, then burns it. Then you may continue the game as normal. You can never revive Timmy if you do not crash the plane.
