Winner: The Evil Within 2 [8] All the same survival horror elements from the first game return, but the design is cleaner across the board. I really like how they separated the character and weapon upgrade trees, but I think some of the character abilities you can get break the horror immersion. With an average score of 7. Is The Evil Within difficult to play?
The Evil Within is without a doubt the hardest game I’ve ever played. I played on the normal difficulty and halfway through the game (8 hours) I had died maybe 80 times. I play a lot of video games and am pretty decent at them, so this tells me that this game is flat out way too hard. When focusing on the main objectives, The Evil Within is about 15½ Hours in length. If you’re a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 40½ Hours to obtain 100% completion.
