Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Stray is the best cat simulator since 1983’s Atari game, Alley Cat. And while that might not seem like high praise, cats have come a long way since the eighties. As a Kat who is the owner of a cat, I might just be the target market for Stray. And so, my brief review of this game is to recommend it wholeheartedly.The point of the game is exploration and puzzle solving…and also to be a stray cat on a mission to finding its way out of the city. Exploration without a map, equipped with only clues is part of the experience. Cats don’t have maps and instead wander until they find their destination.
