Is Sifu a tough game?
Hardest game I’ve ever played. Took me more than a month to complete just 5 levels You literally have to be a master of each level to beat the game. Sifu is a great game… however for me I wouldn’t say it’s super hard, I got all achievements done with in 10-12 hrs of playtime Highly recommend Sifu! Sifu is the story of a young Kung Fu student on a path of revenge, hunting for the murderers of his family. One against all, he has no allies, and countless enemies. He has to rely on his unique mastery of Kung Fu as well as a mysterious pendant to prevail and preserve his family’s legacy.There are a total of 5 main bosses in Sifu, each with unique movesets, arenas, and story ramifications. With each boss requiring slightly different tactics to best, below you’ll find detailed breakdowns of their encounters, from the changes between phases of the fights to certain attacks that you should be wary of.Alongside a gritty prologue that sets the stakes for this tale of an unbridled quest for vengeance, Sifu has 5 main levels/stages for you to master. Is Sifu harder than Sekiro?
Both are great challenging games, but once you get sekiro down, not much can go wrong from there. Sifu is definitely an aquired taste as it can be harder for casuals. I think Sifu is very good. At first I hesitated about getting it for my son, but then I realised that you can turn of the bad language and blood. So I’d say it’s ok when you turn off those features.
What is the plot of Sifu?
Set in China, players control the child of a martial arts school’s sifu (master) who seeks revenge on those responsible for their father’s death. Every time the protagonist dies, they are resurrected by a magical talisman and age up, gaining access to more powerful attacks but reducing their health. To reach the Sifu true ending, you have to spare all five bosses so you can fully break the cycle of revenge. By doing this, you will attain Wude and not be forced to repeat history over and over again, instead achieving enlightenment.Alongside a gritty prologue that sets the stakes for this tale of an unbridled quest for vengeance, Sifu has 5 main levels/stages for you to master. Each area houses numerous enemies, and more importantly, a member of the group responsible for your father’s death.Yang (aka The Leader) is the main antagonist of Sifu, being the leader of the group which raided the kwoon in order to steal elemental talismans, killing his former master and the protagonist in the process. He serves as the boss of The Sanctuary, being the final boss of the game.There is, in fact, a true ending hidden within Sifu, and the game doesn’t actively telegraph the steps to achieve it. Fear not! To unlock the true ending, one must not kill any of the bosses, and instead spare them to obtain the 5 Talismans in the game and attain Wude.If the player character spares Yang instead of killing him on the final boss, the player will be rewarded with the Wude outfit.
