The game is set in the period of the Vietnam War, and many of the locations are based on historic battles.Tripwire Interactive and Epic Games are excited to expand Rising Storm 2: Vietnam’s community, so Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is cross-play ready, allowing current users to connect with specific friends across versions by enabling ‘Steam to EGS’ invites once they have joined an active server.
Does Rising Storm 2 have a campaign?
RS 2: Vietnam recently received a huge update that introduces a full-on campaign mode. It’s very similar to the previous Rising Storm titles in that it features an overhead strategic map with provinces that each side can take turns attacking and defending. While its dated visuals and steep difficulty may deter newcomers, players who enjoy a strategic and realistic FPS will find RS2 Vietnam to be a uniquely rewarding experience.
