Just finished Resident Evil 3 Remake. Honestly, it was a lot of fun. It’s metacritic score is 79/80. I agree this is 100% an 8/10 game. It’s entertaining, it’s technically fantastic (amazing graphics and very smooth gameplay), and the campaign while generic, flows well. Resident Evil 3 Remake is good. Don’t skip on it. The story is pretty good, the banter between Carlos and Jill is fun. It has a few cons, the main is it cuts a bit to much from the original, resulting in a pretty short game.If you’re getting into the series for the first time, I recommend playing the remakes. Capcom has remade Resident Evils 1-4. The remakes are very faithful to the original games but change up the gameplay mechanics and controls to make them easier and more in line with modern gaming standards.The chronology gets dicey with Resident Evil 3, but for the sake of simplicity, we recommend playing it after 2.
