Both, Judgment has the stronger story while introducing the main characters, the mystery is quite gripping. Lost Judgment’s story is still good while the gameplay and combat has been refined from an already great game.Judgement is a great game and set in the same fictional world as Yakuza series. The game story and play are top notch. If you played Yakuza then this game is a must. A must buy PlayStation 4 game.This creates a bit of dissonance as you jump from one part of the game into the next, but it’s hardly unprecedented for the series. Although Lost Judgement would make sense as a stand-alone game, as the story follows from the main plot of the first game, we recommend you play Judgement first.

That said I will whole heartedly recommend playing Judgment first before Lost Judgment. Its an excellent game that I suggest everyone. Also the story of Judgment is better than Lost Judgment imo.
