Is Judgement a good game?
A story that is engaging, intriguing yet thoughtfully structured, complete with another grand cast of new characters, even when it risks of becoming too pedestrian, Judgment predominantly finds the means to keep players fixed on the events unfolding. Both, Judgment has the stronger story while introducing the main characters, the mystery is quite gripping. Lost Judgment’s story is still good while the gameplay and combat has been refined from an already great game.
Should I play judgment before lost judgment?

It’s worth noting that, while plenty of praise has been given to Judgment, some reviewers have criticized the admittedly large gap in seriousness between the games’ main plot and the side stories. You see, the duo titles’ main story is fairly dark. Significantly darker than what one might expect out of Yakuza games.Despite the similarities, producer Kazuki Hosokawa said that Judgment is not a spin-off to Yakuza and instead its own IP leading to its characters being completely original without any intention to feature characters from the other series.Yakuza 0 is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood, Intense Violence, Sexual Content, Strong Language, and Use of Alcohol.In Yakuza 5, she is 16 years old, and becomes one of the five playable characters.Honestly, there’s barely any major plot beats from Yakuza that make it into Judgement. Technically you could play them both whenever you wanted, but Lost Judgement canonically does take place after 7. It’s up to you though.
