To use just connect the dongle to your PC, no drivers to install or software needed. Hold the PS/Sync button on your Instrument and then do the same on the wireless adapter until both blink rapidly. After a moment it should connect and show the corresponding player LED lit. Sync the guitar with the receiver dongle: you also have to connect the guitar to the dongle. To do so, press the green sync-button on the dongle and the sync-button of the guitar until they are both blinking and searching for eachother. Wait a few seconds and they will connect.
