Sméagol was already not a good person, and the Ring affected him more because he acquired it by murder.Legacy. Frodo did forgive Gollum, as Gandalf had pointed out to him that Gollum was not an evil entity deserving death, but a pitiful being unnaturally and irreversibly bound to the Ring’s will, and that Frodo would have almost certainly suffered a similar fate had he kept the Ring.Yup they’re cousins and they have unnatural relationship as men and as cousins, that’s why they’ve met a tragic fate under The Ring influence. Smeagol and Deagol ended up killing each other as lovers while Frodo and Sam helping each other and survive as best friend.
Why does it cry Gollum?
