Is Fate a beginner friendly RPG?
All of this FATE uniqueness makes me think, that FATE is a great first RPG to learn without any prejudices/thoughts about how an RPG would work, because these would only confuse you in the long run. Destiny has much more positive connotations than fate. While it also refers to the idea of predetermined events, destiny is something we can actively shape and alter. Unlike fate,there is an element of choice in destiny. Qualities such as courage, compassion, willpower, and patience can all help to change your destiny.
