Is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 PS5 worth it?
Not groundbreaking, but not horrible. Pretty sure some bits are taken straight from the first Xenoverse, assets and all, copy-paste. Graphics: Not a terrible looking game, especially given the age of the game. Some minor clipping here and there, a bit of jagged edging and blurry assets, but it overall holds up well. Xenoverse 1 is a pretty good game, but 2 is much more improved. If you go straight to 2 you’ll miss out on the first half of the story, but you could easily catch up through a video or something. Also if you play 1 first then want to go straight to 2 you might be bored of Xenoverse by then since their quite similar.According to insider Sofian Le GEEK, Xenoverse 3 was initially only supposed to be slightly prettier than the second part, but the developers decided to completely improve the art, redoing everything from scratch. XenoVerse 1 had better gameplay, you could chase combo, and it was challenging to do. Better story as well. XenoVerse 2 dumbed down the gameplay making it too easy to combo. X2 had more content though, and grinding was easier. They’re very different games. If you want to fight other people and make your own character in smaller quicker fights, go with Xenoverse 2. If you want longer fights, where you have more freedom to feel like a character from Dragon Ball, teleporting and flying around, go with Kakarot.If you like just pure fighting games, then I recommend FighterZ. However, the combat for the two is very different. In Xenoverse 2 it feels much more like you need to analyze and adapt. However, the Xenoverse 2 roster sometimes feels overwhelming, and people only use about 1/4 of what the actual roster contains.
