Is Dark Souls hard on PC?
dark souls is a classic, but notoriously difficult game. For gamers who want something more forgiving, these similar titles are great choices. I had dark souls 3, couldn’t make it past the first boss, never played another souls style game. Tails of iron is the best game to start the souls like genre in my opinion. Hidetaka miyazaki says his favorite fromsoftware games that he worked on are the first dark souls and bloodborne! Of course, i love them all. On a very personal level, i would say, first dark souls and bloodborne left a very big impression on me.
Is Dark Souls 3 better than 2?
Better AI design for both mobs and bosses and more responsive controls lead dark souls 3’s combat to be significantly better than DS2’s as a whole. There are other qualitites that are up in the air though. For instance, build variety was much better in DS2. A lot of people prefer lore from DS2 over DS3, etc. Well worth the price. DS1 and 3 are timeless, IMO. The former is a bit clunky but very engaging for those who stick with it, and 3 feels like a slower, more relaxed Elden ring for the most part (some bosses will be more intense, though. DS2 has issues but a lot of good in it, too.

Is Dark Souls 1 longer than 2?
Dark Souls 2 is about 20% longer I’d say but not any harder. SotFS is harder but for all the wrong reasons. Absurd enemy placement, ridiculous enemy tracking, slow, sluggish mechanics. One of the main reasons why Dark Souls 1 can take so long to beat is its challenging gameplay. The game is known for its punishing difficulty, with enemies that can quickly overwhelm players if they are not careful.
