Is Blur 4 player?
The game can be played with up to four players in split screen, and can be taken online for a maximum of 20 players over the internet, or over LAN in the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 versions. Universal Split Screen is a standalone application that directs Windows input to enable local multiplayer in PC games with keyboards, mice and controllers. Play local co-op with one game copy on one computer.
Why was Blur removed?
The game could have been removed for a number of reasons, including the closure of developer Bizarre Creations in early 2011, but the most likely cause was expired licensing of the real-world cars featured in the game. Blur remains available on physical media, playable in single-player and offline multiplayer modes. The video game cancellation of Blur 2 was due to many reasons. A big one was Blur’s reception, which missed the mark on sales despite being innovative. Blur, made by Bizarre Creations and released in 2010 by Activision, wanted to change arcade racing games. Yet, the love for traditional racing games was going down.Blur was Bizarre Creations’ first multiplatform (PS3, PC, Xbox 360) release under Activision and they have done an impressive job at optimizing the game for all platforms.
