Is 256GB overkill for Switch?
Most Switch games are under 25GB. Some of them are even under 1GB. GB should be plenty of storage if you’re only going to play a few downloaded games. With games’ installation size taking up more storage than ever, we recommend getting an SSD with a storage capacity of at least 500GB. Of course, this is budget-dependent, but by choosing more capacity, you’ll be less likely to need to upgrade in the future.
