Is $1000 enough to build a PC?
Very doable. You can use PCPartPicker to track your build and find the cheapest prices. You could probably buy someone’s used pc on market place with either a 5000 series ryzen or 10-12th gen intel cpu plus a 3070/3080 or 6700xt/6800xt. Yes. K is more than enough to get a good PC together if you are building and also if looking for a pre-Built that would be enough as well, though you need to be more critical about what’s in it to get a good deal for performance on a pre built. More than enough for a solid high end build.
What is the FPS of the PS5 Pro?
Play at 60fps, or up to 120fps, with 4K output and ray tracing for compatible games. With the power of the PS5 Pro console, compatible games can be played at 60fps, or up to 120fps, with Ray Tracing and AI-enhanced 4K resolution using PSSR—all at the same time—on your 4K TV. Even though, theoretically, the PS5 runs at higher resolutions, it does a terrible job with upscaling, and often runs games below 1080p to get 60fps. The 4060 is much better, there’s no comparison. For most players, the benefits of going beyond 500 FPS will be minimal. Human perception has limits, and diminishing returns make ultra-high frame rates harder to justify.
What is better, PS5 or gaming PC?
PS5 is more cost effective to a point, but PC can get you better performance, more graphics options, and more customization. PC also comes with more potential issues to troubleshoot. Also keep in mind that PC ports have been shoddy in recent years. Devs prioritize console and fine tune PC later. It’s quite a bit worse. The laptop version of the RTX 3060 in terms of performance is comparable to a desktop 1660 super. The PS5 is around the same as a desktop RTX 2070 or 2080. The RTX 3060 laptop version is more around the PS4 equivalent.
