Skylanders: Battlecast was a cards-to-life mobile game in the Skylanders franchise made by Beachhead Studios. It was available via the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. On June 30th 2017, it was announced that Battlecast would be shutting down on September 1st 2017. Created by the pioneers of the toys-to-life videogame category, Skylanders Battlecast brings cards to life in a new free-to-play mobile adventure, set within the Skylanders universe.Moving on to modes, there are two modes of play going into Skylanders Battlecast. The first, and the one I spent the most time on, is the story mode. This follows our favorite villain Kaos and his minions in their plight to disrupt Skylander life.
