Fable is included with Game Pass to play on PC. It was only released on the Xbox 360, a true Xbox exclusive. Never on Playstation or PC. So outside of a tiny percentage of PC Gamers who have played it via an Xbox 360 emulator, if you didn’t own an Xbox, you never played it. Fable 2 currently plays and looks great on an Xbox Series X via backwards compatibility.You can still play Fable 3 on pc even though it’s delisted from stores, 3rd party sellers still have some steam keys and there’s other means of acquiring it too, with the other means there are amazing patches like unlocked fps and other goodies. I’d personally avoid the gamepass version since it’s cloud gaming.Fable 2 was only ever made for console. Cloud gaming essentially emulates the xbox to be able to play it. It is probably too expensive and too much effort to port it to PC and probably not enough potential profit. Fable 3, on the other hand, does have a PC version.The Fable 4 release date is due sometime in 2026. This was confirmed by Head of Xbox Game Studios Craig Duncan.
