Can Outer Wilds run on a Steam Deck?
Great game for the steam deck This one ran mostly great on the steam deck. I limited it to 40 fps to save battery life. There were some minor sections of the game where water physics were involved and the frames would dip momentarily but nothing game breaking. All Steam Decks (both LCD and OLED) are powerful, portable, PC gaming devices made for comfort and a console-like experience.
Does a Steam Deck run well docked?
I do not think using the Steam Deck for docked games is so great and there are definitely issues. Because the Steam Deck has an odd resolution of 1280×800, you constantly need to change settings and stuff when using a standard 1920×1080 monitor or TV. Enhanced Display Quality: Steam Deck’s native screen supports 800P, but connecting to an external display offers larger, sharper visuals (1080P, 2K, or 4K).
