Is there a modern version of Guitar Hero?
It’s been a very long time since a brand-new guitar hero-style game released on xbox, with the last one being guitar hero live in 2015 (unless you count fortnite festival in 2023), but another one has now been announced for xbox! Ahead of activision’s 2010 fourth quarter financial report in february 2011, activision disbanded its guitar hero business unit and announced that it would cease development of the planned 2011 guitar hero game. Activision cited continued declines in the music genre to explain its decision.
